Rainwater harvesting- cost effective landscape irrigation

Rainwater harvesting involves collecting, accumulating and storing water to be reused later for irrigation purposes. It is a great technique which has been used since years especially by people living in arid areas. The process involves filtration of rain water at the catchment area using a filter that stops dirt from entering into the collector or storage vessel. This mode of irrigation is considered as one of the most cost effective yet extremely efficient ways to irrigate a landscape. It is cheaper because of the fact that only rain water is utilized to perform the entire process using existing infrastructure and does not cost anything to obtain, after you purchase the system.
