Categories of grants for nonprofit organizations

Grants are stated as a type of funding which shall not involve repaying the grant money received by the organization. These can come from several sources like businesses, individuals, international organizations and even from government. Grants for nonprofit organization can be classified into three parts. Those are restricted, unrestricted and the in-kind. These programs are really great if one is looking for grants to be used for any nonprofit organizations. Unrestricted grants can be put to use for any purpose; they shall help to fund the working of any nonprofit organization and to accomplish some goals. Restricted grants should be spent precisely according to the grant proposal. It should never be used for other purposes apart from the financing need.
