Elements of rainwater collection systems
Today, addition of some new elements in the rainwater collection systems has made them even more efficient. The elements contained in these systems include water catch area or surface which can be considered as one of the major elements as this is where the water is gathered. Then there are channels made to transport the water from the catching surface or area to the storage tank. There are also filters designed to filter various unwanted particles present in the rainwater. Moreover, there are pressure vessels/pumps to keep the water under pressure. Further, to store the ready-to-use water, there is also a water storage tank. And finally, there is a piping system made to transport the clean water to various ends of consumption.
