Essential vitamins for brain development

To repair brain tissues or cells, foodstuffs containing good amount of vitamins are crucial. There are many important vitamins for brain development such as antioxidants which protect the brain cells against free radicals. Vitamin E and C are essentially the best antioxidant vitamins that promote a good health of the brain. Vitamin C can be obtained from fruits like oranges, strawberries as well as vegetables like bell peppers, chili peppers etc while Vitamin E is present in foodstuffs like nuts, spinach, broccoli, vegetable oils etc. Besides, folic acid is also one of those ingredients which are extremely useful in promoting brain development. It is present in green vegetables, whole grains, citrus fruits etc.
