An outlook on sound module

A sound module is an electric music instrument which does not require any human-playable instrument like keyboard. It can be a sampler, synthesizer, rompler or a digital piano. Basically, they are played with the use of an externally attached device such as a controller, sequencer or any other. The connections are made between the sound modules and controllers or sequencers using a protocol known as MIDI. Talking about its advantages, well it is quite cost effective and also takes very less space. Moreover, in case you wish to replace it you do not need to change your favorite controller. These are the reasons which have led to an increasing popularity of these modules.
