Reasons to collect first editions

Purchasing first editions may not be a very practical choice, considering their steep prices but possessing the first edition which is a rare one and cherishing it in your personal library can offset the purchases’ impracticality. True book collectors have few reasons to consider the first edition purchase, worth buying. If you keep the first edition in a good condition and find a good buyer for it, you may probably attain a lot of profit. If their supply is short but demand is high, the value of the first edition increases. These have the artistic superiority and authenticity. So if someone collects books as an investment then they are most probably going to appreciate it in the long run.
