A hobby tractor is generally so called because they are small and compact and are seen to be used by what some disparaging folks call “hobby farmers” that is to say an agricultural business that appears to be only the hobby of someone and not a real enterprise.
How wrong they could they be.
These small tractors may be small in size but in terms of work they need to turn out pro rata the same as one of the monster tractors seen on large scale agricultural farms.
Try telling a small holder or a vineyard owner that their business and tractor are only “hobbies”; I can imagine the reply you would receive in return.
Hobby tractors need to be as robust and reliable as their “big cousins”, and thankfully there is a great solution to be found with the smaller range of tractors from Foton.
