Air conditioning systems are more than just about cool air; rather, it is about the overall quality of the air in the home or workplace, after all we spend anything between a quarter and a third of our lives at home or in work and it would seem reasonable to have some degree of comfort when we are there. Old style boilers and wet heating systems can be expensive to run, particularly given the cost of heating oil, gas and solid fuel. Electrically powered air con systems are extremely energy efficient and compared to systems manufactured just five or six years ago they are light years ahead in efficiency.
Believe it! And if anyone starts spouting hot air about it just refer them to GalxC; they will have something to say about that.
