How to make Joomla change in user settings for registered users

Joomla users are classified as registered, author, editor and publisher. For front end user settings, registered users need to log on the administrator area of their site, go to site menu and click user manager. Now search the user whom they want to update. After locating the user, click on their name and then in group window, then they can grant access to selected group. After that, decide if the user should get system e- mails, produced by Joomla. They can select the type of front- end editor. They can also select the time zone they are in, what sort of help site they can access. Now ‘save’ the settings.
