The Damart Mill doesn’t look too satanic in this image

The Damart mill in Bingley looks nothing like one of the dark satanic mills made famous by the short poem written by William Blake around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries. The mill and chimney which dominates the centre of the old market town of Bingley has, unbeknownst to many of the fans of Coronation Street been a big contributor to the famous old cobbles over the years.
No, it hasn’t had a starring role; however, perhaps its performance would have been less wooden or static than the character of Ken, or looked less than it was chewing a wasp like the face of Gail.
The role we’re talking about here is the supply of thermal undies to the cast while filming in order to keep out the cold conditions presented by the streets of Weatherfield.
